A natural rock fountain can be a simple rock pool whose water forms a bubble spring or a more complex arrangement, such as boulders that have been collected to create a waterfall. This spring is usually implemented with a rotary pump, with water in a tank that is either an integral part of its feature or is hidden from view. The latter is a safe option for family members, especially young children.

Important points about the waterfall:

These attractive structures should not be built under trees. If you use them under trees, bird droppings, insects and other dirty particles that fall from the tree will contaminate the water as well as clog the filters and clog the pumps.
These structures should not be located in the direction of strong winds. The wind changes the order and pattern of water fall in them and by pouring it out and spraying it, it causes water loss and wetting of the surrounding area.
The depth of the structure used should be such that it saves water consumption and is safe from the possible dangers of child mischief.
To protect the cavities and pits used to install these structures, suitable iron nets should be used to prevent objects and debris from falling.
When choosing the right place to install a waterfront, make sure the location has access to plumbing and wiring.
Some fountains, especially metal fountains, need to be dried in the cold seasons and their pipes drained.
