Epoxy infrastructure primer BC52 Beton Chimi

Beton Chimi
Iran

This product is used to prepare the concrete and metal surfaces on which epoxy coatings are applied and is a polymer-based two-component compound. Proper application of this product (with special safety precautions) can seal the surface in addition to preparing it to perform other polymeric and epoxy compounds.

Epoxy infrastructure primer BC52 Beton Chimi

Primers are the first coating for many different surfaces to help prevent tinting or discoloration and improve the adhesion of subsequent coatings. The materials used as primers will vary depending on the primer surface. Aluminum surfaces should be impregnated with zinc chromate primer and refrain from applying lead paint on them. Copper surfaces do not require a special primer to prevent corrosion, as the produced copper oxide layer prevents subsequent oxidation. If the copper surfaces are to be stained, it can be stained with conventional primers on metal surfaces after routine cleaning. As previously coated with dilute acetic acid on galvanized metals, it may be primed with any suitable primer. Otherwise the primer should be used for galvanized surfaces. The steel structure surfaces have different primers depending on the different conditions. Oleo resin primers containing alkaline lead silicon, chromate, ferric oxide, titanium dioxide, dihydrate or soot lead phosphate are used for indoor and outdoor work under normal conditions. For outer surfaces of steel that face severe (adverse) atmospheric factors or for buried steel in concrete, ordinary alkyd containing syringes should be used. Steels that are exposed to abnormal factors such as chemicals, sweating or severe vapor should be coated with a primer that has high hardening properties when drying, such as epoxy primers (especially metals) containing syringes. Surfaces of cementitious cotton products should be impregnated with an anti-alkali primer layer such as primers containing synthetic rubber.

Bitumen and bitumen surfaces require a primer that prevents bitumen from being exposed to the facing surfaces. The slits are suitable for this purpose, forming a brittle layer that may prevent the subsequent layers from adhering. For this purpose, a suitable substitute is a latex-ready aluminum primer or latex emulsion sealer. Concrete surfaces that are lower than the finished floor should be sealed under the paint before they can penetrate the water. After that, a primer of the kind of anti-alkaline rubber color chlorine should be used. The surfaces of the dry, alkali-free cement blocks that need to be painted require a latex-filler primer.

Necessity of Application and Benefits:

  • Provide anti-acid coating to pH around 3 and 4
  • Creating anti-alkaline coating
  • Resistant substrate in chemical, alkaline, acidic, moist and corrosive environments
  • Subsurface surfaces dampened by moisture.
  • Surface preparers for various types of resin coatings
  • High impermeability to surfaces
  • No shrinkage and cracking
  • Stability against temperature changes
  • Strong surface and resistant to cracks caused by minor deformation
  • Reduce operating costs
  • Increase the speed of execution of epoxy compounds
  • Very good adhesion to a variety of materials such as concrete, stone, wood, metal, etc. (except plastics)
