The cutting nozzle is used to cut the material. First, the metal is heated by a flame until it turns bright red, and when the part reaches this temperature, oxygen is blown into the heated parts by pressing a lever on the cutting peak. The cutting head reacts and forms oxides and generates heat, and it is this heat that keeps the cutting process going. The cutting nozzle heats the metals only to start the cutting process and to provide more heat than this amount of flammable metal.
