Styrofoam blocks (polystyrene) have long been welcomed by builders for building in the country and in high-rise apartments because of their lightness and low cost. These blocks come in two flammable and non-flammable types. The weight of each piece of cement block used in construction is 3 kg. While the weight of the styrofoam blocks is very small and greatly reduces the weight of the building. Despite the fireproof coating that encloses the block below and above the block, they can withstand heat up to only 5 minutes in the event of a fire in the building. Residential safety against fire and accident is one of the issues that should be considered in terms of urban safety. The safety of a building has a lot to do with the materials used as one of the most important. Because of their light weight, polystyrene blocks reduce the final weight of the building and are therefore used in construction. These blocks are safe against earthquakes. But they easily lose weight against fire, and the only drawback of these blocks is their low heat and flame resistance. Styrofoam is a better acoustic absorber than concrete and is not a superior sound insulator, so unolith alone has no effect on sound loss. Only if the wall between the two walls of the unit is used, the noise will increase. Thermal insulators are not solely sound insulators and can reduce noise if they are inserted into the system.
