Water stop applications are used to seal executive and expansion joints in aquatic concrete structures. Water stop lengthens the flow of water and the flow of water so that water cannot leak. The thickness of the concrete is important because of its permeability so that if its thickness exceeds the water permeability, the water will not pass through it. One of the design points is the width of the water stop, which is more than one sweep depth.
