With a double-walled pot or with two barrels placed inside each other, thermal oil is poured around the barrel and heated to a temperature of 140 to 180 degrees Celsius until the mastic inside the barrel melts. The temperature should not exceed 190 degrees Celsius. (Measurement of temperature can be controlled by thermometer.)
