Today polyurea is a significant technology in the field of coatings and sealing joints and can be used in a variety of applications including reinforcement, sealing and corrosion protection and erosion in concrete and steel structures. Polyurethane is a type of thermostatic elastic polymer resulting from the reaction of amines and isocyanates. This polymer can be divided into two types of aromatic and aliphatic which aliphatic type has better color stability and UV resistance than aromatic type. The benefits of this coating are the short drying time of the technology (a few seconds) and the serviceability is very fast (less than 24 hours). In fact, after mixing the two components, polyurea is formed within seconds. This material is operated in-situ using a high-temperature, high-pressure two-component spray system (Plural component airless spray).
