Do not use heavy, pneumatic hammers and other similar tools that will cause the aggregates to break and remain in place. The surfaces must be cleaned of oil, dust, paint, curing agent and other contaminants that reduce adhesion. Wet the surfaces exposed to grouting so that the water does not absorb the mortar so that the surfaces are wet but there is no free water. When installing screws or rebars, pay special attention to the fact that the blades are empty and there is no water or oil, and if necessary, use compressed air to drain them.
