Polyurethane injection resin AQUAFIN-P4 is a two-component polyurethane resin solvent-free polyurethane resin. This product reacts slowly and after hardening it becomes a non-porous material that slowly forms foam in the vicinity of water. AQUAFIN-P4 polyurethane injection resin forms a bond with dry and wet surfaces and results in excellent adhesion to the ground as well as high tear resistance. The glass transition temperature of this material is low and it maintains its resistance even at very low temperatures without brittleness.

Uses of AQUAFIN-P4 polyurethane injection resin

AQUAFIN-P4 polyurethane injection resin is used as a waterproof and elastic sealant in cracks, seams and holes in concrete, stone and brick structures. The main use of this product is in parking lots, concrete tanks, tunnels and executive seams and it is injected into concrete seams by AQUAFIN-CJ1 and AQUAFIN-CJ2 or Pocket injection hoses. Since the volume mixing ratio of this product is 1.2, two-component pumps can also be used for injection.

Two components A (polyol) and B (isocyanate) are provided in the package according to the mixing ratio. Part B is completely added to part A. Mixing with a mixer at a speed of 300 rpm and the hardener is completely spread in the resin, in fact, this process continues until it reaches a completely uniform and homogeneous state.

Equipment required to use AQUAFIN-P4 polyurethane injection resin

Hand/foot lever press machine, one-component pump (airless or piston pump) or two-component pump (with a special metal stirrer) when the mixture is ready to be injected, by special packers inside the cracks that They are supposed to be sealed, injected and this process continues until the material overflows the control holes.

Existing cracks (cracks with a width of about 0.2 mm) should be drained to a depth of 20-30 cm.
Discharged areas should be cleaned with clean air pressure.
Injection packers should be installed in the right place.
If necessary, isolate the packers and areas around the crack with ASODUR-EK98 with a width of about 15 cm and a consumption of about 300 g/m2.
After isolation, AQUAFIN-P4 polyurethane injection resin should be injected with a suitable device. For vertical cracks, start the injection from the bottom and for horizontal cracks from the left side. The amount of material consumption is about 1000 g/1.
If needed, the resin injection device should be moved away from the place before the polyurethane injection resin AQUAFIN-P4 completely hardens and returned to the crack with ASOCORET-RN to be level with the concrete.
